Meltwater Farm is a diversified regenerative farm located on 59 acres of ancestral Mohawk/Abenaki land in the town of Argyle, NY. We grow 3 acres of certified organic greens and vegetables year-round for farmers markets and wholesale accounts, as well as seasonal pastured lamb. Our goal is to produce food that is accessible, abundant and highly nutritious with a low environmental footprint.

Our vegetables are part of a holistic system that includes perennial fruit trees and asparagus, raspberries, and table grapes. Our sheep graze the open pastures, hedgerows and wild areas and we process their wool by hand on the farm. 

The farm is named after the snow and ice that melts off of the slopes of the Adirondack foothills in the spring.
